We chose Eucalyptus + Bergamot as ingredients because they have been known healing agents for hundreds of years. Hi. I’m Kathryn! I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and continue to be rooted in Charlotte. Even as a child I had an entrepreneurial-spirit; babysitting, mowing lawns, eventually working in retail, waiting tables and bartending through college. As a young adult I attended Appalachian State University where I studied communications and journalism. After college, I continued at Southeastern School of Cosmetic Arts on a whim and little did I know, that decision would change my trajectory forever. At that time, the economy was experiencing a great recession and people were having a hard time finding work. I created a way for myself and opened my own studio encouraging and showcasing local artists, working as a freelance photo stylist for those in the movie, music, sports and television industries and building my clientele as a hair stylist. Through this, I learned that what was hard could also provide a great opportunity to solve a problem for others.
